What is PLA Based Biodegradable Zipper?
Polylactic Acid (PLA) is a biodegradable, bio-based thermoplastic polyester derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugarcane. Unlike conventional petroleum-based plastics, PLA is considered environmentally friendly due to its ability to break down under industrial composting conditions. Its chemical structure allows it to be processed using standardplastic manufacturing techniques like injection molding and extrusion, making it versatile for various applications.
We are excited to launch our new eco-friendly zipper line, featuring zippers made from biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA) resin - REVODE213S, a polylactic acid resin produced with good biodegradability. It is specially designed for injection molded heat-resistant products.
